We are very proud to officially receive the title of the oldest hotel in Vienna and to be named as a sightseeing destination. The Hotel Stefanie has seen plenty of history and will continue to do so, but more than anything, it is an embodiment of living values. The hotel represents a kind of time travel, a sliver of the monarchy, and at the same time a place so human and inviting that you feel at home as soon as you arrive.

For me, a hotel is a place to get together. And I've never felt that anywhere so much as here at the Hotel Stefanie, the oldest hotel in Vienna. From carriers in the 17th century to the managers of today, from business travellers to tourists from all over the world, from happy newlyweds to Jewish youngsters celebrating their Bar Mitzvah, or everyone from grandchild to great-grandmother for a Sunday brunch; all kinds of people have been meeting up at the Stefanie for over 400 years.
I have now been breathing in this wonderful atmosphere for almost thirty years, and still I find that every day at the hotel brings truly special moments!
